Willamette Valley Christian School – SMS Terms of Service

WVCS sends optional, non-promotional text messages to enrolled parents and guardians concerning student field trips.

Messages may include:

​

• Notification that a field-trip permission form is available.

• A secure link to review or complete a field-trip permission form.

• A reminder that a required form remains incomplete.

• Notice that a submission deadline is approaching.

• Relevant changes or updates concerning an applicable field trip.

• Confirmation that a field-trip form has been received.

Links may direct recipients to the WVCS School Hub at wvcshub.org. The WVCS School Hub is an official online service of Willamette Valley Christian School.

Parents and guardians enroll through the WVCS Field Trip Text Notifications webpage by entering their information and affirmatively selecting the SMS consent checkbox.

Consent to receive text messages is optional. Consent is not a condition of student enrollment, participation in a field trip, access to the WVCS School Hub, or receipt of any other WVCS service.

​Parents and guardians who do not enroll in text messaging may continue to receive applicable school information through other communication methods offered by WVCS.

Message frequency varies according to the number and timing of field trips applicable to the recipient’s student. Recipients can typically expect no more than four messages per month, although message frequency may vary.

Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient’s mobile-service plan. WVCS does not charge recipients a separate fee for this text-messaging program.

Recipients may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to a WVCS text message.

After a recipient replies STOP, WVCS will send a final confirmation message stating that the recipient has been unsubscribed. No additional Field Trip Text Notifications will be sent unless the recipient affirmatively enrolls again.

​Other supported opt-out requests may include CANCEL, END, QUIT, STOPALL, and UNSUBSCRIBE.

Recipients may reply HELP for assistance.

Recipients may also contact the WVCS school office at 503-393-5236 during regular office hours.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message delivery is subject to the recipient’s wireless network, device, carrier, and mobile-service availability.

WVCS’s collection and use of mobile information are governed by the WVCS SMS Privacy Policy.

​

Mobile telephone numbers and text-messaging consent information will not be shared, sold, rented, or otherwise provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

WVCS may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this webpage with a revised effective date.

Continued participation in the program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, subject to applicable law.
