Finances
West Valley Christian School endeavors to keep the cost of Christian Education as low as possible so that all Christian
young people may attend. The following statements outline the general financial practices that are important to the students, parents,
and/or financial sponsors.
Financial Practices
Previous Balances
The account for the previous years’ expenses at West Valley Christian School or any other school must be settled
before the student is permitted to enroll for the current school year. Any delinquent accounts remaining from a sibling who attended
West Valley must also be settled before another member is admitted.
Family Discount
A discount of 10% is given for the second family member enrolled, 15% for the third, and the fourth family member is free.
Financial Plans
In order to provide financial flexibility to parents or financial sponsors, two financial plans are available:
1) Cash in Advance: The registration fee plus the first semester tuition is paid in advance – 5% discount on tuition. (already calculated into the tuition schedule).
2) Monthly Payment Plans: The registration fee is due by (August 21, 2005) at registration.
a) 10 Month Plan – due each month on the 1st, payments start in September and continue monthly through June.
b) 9 Month Plan – payments start September 1. The balance is paid in 8 additional monthly installments, billed October 1 through May 1.
In all of the above plans, other miscellaneous charges (before and after school charges, lunch tickets, milk and juice, etc.) are billed on the monthly statements and are due upon
receipt.
STATEMENTS
Statements are sent out by the 25th of the month and are due on the first of the month. The financial sponsor is
expected to keep the account current at all times. All accounts that are not paid in full by the 10th of the month will assess a
$20 late fee per month until the account is brought up to date. Students whose accounts are 60 days in the rears will be asked to
withdraw until the account is paid in full or payment arrangements are made.
Transcripts, diplomas, and report cards cannot be issued until the account for the student has been paid in full.
However, all accounts must be paid in full by the end of the school year.
